Maybe it was a misunderstanding (over several phone calls) but I was told the warranty was 10 years 100,000 miles & 5 years 50,000

miles and if I was not the original owner or did not purchase the vehicle at a KIA dealership that the warranty would be cut in half.

This caused me to have my vehicle towed to the location where I purchased it. The extended warranty would not cover the problem

because the vehicle is still under the manufacture warranty.

Your service Dept Ė refused to cover the towing from where I purchased it, to your location for warranty repairs.

That conversation ended when I talked about getting an attorney, the service guy told me to get an attorney.

I do want you all to know, no attorney was needed

What is needed is for this dealership Jim Marsh KIA is for people to be educated on manufactures warranty

a)      It is 10 years 100,000 miles

b)      Itís not 5 years 50,000 miles Ė itís actually 5 years 60,000 miles

c)       It donít matter where a person purchased the vehicle Ė itís the same warranty (NO ITíS NOT CUT IN HALF)

d)      It also donít matter if the person is the original owner, 2nd Ė 3rd 4th etc owner itís the same warranty (NO ITíS NOT CUT IN HALF)

e)      Also, about the towing from the dealership from where I purchased it, to your location for warranty repairs.

You may want to inform your service dept. HELLO YES THAT IS COVERED UNDER MANUFACTER WARRANTY Ė look under road side service.

No I did not put my name or return address on this Ė someone may remember the phone conversations but for me

[I just donít care] Ė my vehicle was towed to a KIA dealership and repaired all covered under WARRANY Ė So Iím happy

But someone should train people at this dealership on the manufactures warranty.
